Key Responsibilities
Baggage & Cargo Handling
- Sort, load, move, and offload baggage and cargo as assigned.
- Ensure all handling is done safely without causing any damage.
Aircraft-Side Delivery
- Transport baggage and cargo to aircraft on time.
- Assist in collecting passenger handbags at gates when required.
Aircraft Hold Checks
- Inspect aircraft holds for missing components, abnormalities, or foreign objects.
- Check safety equipment including ULD locks, nets, and restraints.
Reporting & Safety Documentation
- Report suspicious items or hazards immediately.
- Submit written reports for operational issues and irregularities.
Compliance & Protocols
- Follow all Etihad and customer airline procedures correctly.
- Perform only tasks for which proper training has been completed.
Team & Personal Safety
- Maintain strong awareness of safety rules and surroundings.
- Ensure your own safety and support coworkers in high-risk areas.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School Certificate or equivalent.
- Driving: Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
- Language: Basic English communication skills; able to work with multicultural teams.
- Work Conditions: Physically fit, able to lift heavy bags, work outdoors, handle pressure, and work on rotating shifts.
