Role Overview
The Cabin Technician supports scheduled aircraft maintenance activities by keeping interior components in optimal operational condition. Working alongside Cabin Appearance Engineers, you will conduct inspections, repairs, replacements, and functional testing while adhering to safety regulations and technical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Aircraft Cabin Maintenance
- Review assigned task cards thoroughly prior to initiating work.
- Assist engineers during routine and scheduled cabin servicing.
- Perform detailed inspections to identify wear, defects, or physical damage.
- Execute repairs and component replacements as necessary.
- Conduct post-maintenance functional testing to confirm proper operation.
- Maintain complete and accurate technical documentation.
- Safely return all tools and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) after use.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to standard aviation maintenance protocols and regulatory standards.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a safe and well-lit workspace surrounding the aircraft.
- Apply human factors principles during maintenance pauses or interruptions.
Teamwork & Resource Efficiency
- Provide progress updates and report technical issues to the Engineer-in-Charge.
- Collaborate effectively with maintenance engineers and technicians.
- Minimize material waste and handle delicate aircraft parts carefully.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety norms.
Candidate Requirements
- Certified Workshop Maintenance Technician qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years in general aircraft maintenance and 2 years in Line Maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with commercial aircraft (Airbus experience preferred).
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Eligibility to secure a valid UAE driver's license.
