Job Overview
The Heavy Duty Driver will be responsible for operating different types of company vehicles such as buses, trucks, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
The role includes safely transporting equipment, materials, and personnel between various company locations while strictly following traffic regulations and company safety procedures.
Drivers may also assist with loading and unloading equipment, ensuring all cargo is properly secured before transport.
Key Responsibilities
Main Duties
- Operate heavy vehicles including trucks, buses, and loaders
- Transport machinery, equipment, pipes, and materials between company facilities
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo when required
- Follow signals and instructions during loading operations
- Ensure cargo is properly balanced and securely fastened before travel
- Transport company employees safely using staff buses when required
Vehicle Maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
- Follow scheduled maintenance and servicing procedures
- Immediately report mechanical issues or vehicle damage to supervisors
- Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained inside and outside
Safety and Compliance
- Follow UAE traffic rules and company safety regulations
- Obtain work permits before entering restricted operational areas
- Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly
- Ensure vehicle registration and insurance documents are always valid
Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
Safety is a top priority at ADNOC. Drivers must follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.

Qualification Requirements
- Completion of Primary Education
- Minimum 4 years of driving experience
- Valid UAE Heavy Duty Driving License
- Good understanding of road safety and traffic regulations
- Ability to work in operational and field environments
