🎯 Job Purpose
The Teller is responsible for providing daily branch banking services including cash handling, customer transactions, and operational support while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent customer service.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Receive cash deposits and process withdrawals
- Credit and debit customer accounts accurately
- Issue Demand Drafts (DDs) and Manager’s Cheques
- Handle foreign currency exchange transactions
- Process internal transfers within limits
- Support overall branch operations
- Maintain customer queue time under three minutes
- Cross-sell or refer banking products and services
- Verify daily transactions and journals
- Balance and transfer end-of-day cash
- Act as Head Teller when required
