Job Overview
The Warehouse Assistant will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving shipments, loading and unloading goods, picking and packing customer orders, stock management, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.
The successful candidate should be physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while following all company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Assistant, your duties will include:
- Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing goods.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Handle warehouse materials carefully to avoid damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse.
- Follow instructions provided by warehouse supervisors.
- Report damaged goods, equipment faults, accidents, or safety hazards immediately.
- Perform regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Assist with warehouse operations during overtime when required.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) initiatives.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Carry out additional warehouse duties assigned by management.
Eligibility Requirements
