KSRTC Recruitment 2026 Eligibility
Candidates should hold the required engineering qualification from a recognized university or institution and must meet the experience criteria specified for the position they are applying for.
If an applicant is using an equivalent qualification to satisfy the educational requirement, an appropriate equivalency certificate issued by the competent authority must be provided. An equivalent qualification without the required certificate may not be accepted for the recruitment process.
Experience Required
For the Chief Engineer position, preference is given to retired Chief Engineers from PWD or CPWD who have handled major building design and construction activities and possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant building construction experience.
For the Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) post, applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Engineer (Electrical) or in an equivalent role in Government departments or Government projects. Candidates meeting the specified experience requirements through an A Class Contractor licence may also be considered.
Knowledge and practical experience in areas such as Government procedures, multi-storey building design, AutoCAD, Excel, project management software, PRICE software, measurement books/e-Measurement books, e-tendering, bill preparation and PMC activities may provide an advantage during the selection process.
