About the Role
The Bellboy plays an important role in delivering an outstanding guest experience by welcoming visitors, assisting with luggage, and providing helpful information throughout their stay. This position requires excellent customer service, physical fitness, and close coordination with the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security teams to ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting guest luggage.
- Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel facilities and room features.
- Provide information about hotel services, restaurants, and nearby attractions.
- Support guests during check-in and check-out procedures.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Arrange transportation, taxis, and airport transfers when required.
- Store and retrieve luggage while maintaining accurate records.
- Deliver guest mail, parcels, messages, and special amenities.
- Keep the lobby and luggage storage areas clean and organized.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security departments.
- Follow all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures.
- Complete additional duties assigned by supervisors or hotel management.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Good spoken and written English communication skills.
- Knowledge of additional languages is an added advantage.
- Physically fit to lift and transport luggage safely.
- Professional appearance with excellent grooming standards.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
