Job Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Handling import and export cargo operations efficiently.
- Performing cargo acceptance, delivery, build-up, and breakdown activities.
- Loading and unloading cargo from aircraft, trucks, and Unit Load Devices (ULDs).
- Preparing and verifying cargo documentation accurately.
- Inspecting shipments and confirming cargo details before processing.
- Operating cargo handling equipment, including forklifts and tow tractors.
- Updating cargo records using company systems.
- Coordinating with Customs, Municipality, Health, and Police authorities when required.
- Managing special cargo such as dangerous goods, live animals, courier shipments, and valuable cargo in compliance with IATA regulations.
- Following all company safety, security, and quality procedures.
- Reporting operational issues and safety concerns to the shift supervisor.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this role, applicants should have:
- High School Certificate (12 years of education) or a relevant diploma.
- 2–4 years of experience in cargo handling, logistics, or airport operations.
- Good understanding of cargo handling procedures.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts in a busy airport environment.
